Manifesto

What I Believe.

about-alyson-pageI believe that art is a form of communication. It’s a visual language that many of us choose as a primary means to express ourselves.

I believe that art can save people’s (especially children’s) souls who are otherwise disenfranchised.

I believe that we are one. The history of art, while evolving differently in various corners of the world, proves all that we have in common.

I believe that almost everyone can learn to appreciate art and, therefore, enrich their lives.

I believe in artists who challenge me and make me think.

I believe in artists who bring more beauty to the world – through their art and their actions.

I believe in artists who rock the status quo.

I believe in artists who are perfectly happy making their art quietly without wanting to make money from it.

I believe in artists who believe in themselves.

I believe in artists who support other artists.

I believe in artists who accept 100% responsibility for their actions.

I believe in artists who collaborate.

I believe in artists who are open to new ideas.

I believe in artists who are in dialogue with the world around them.

Work with me.
