This class has been the absolutely, positively, the best $99 I've ever invested! The class overwhelmingly exceeded my expectations. Indeed I'm a bit overloaded with actions and plans resulting from the class, but happily so. Thank you very much. Keep up your good work. You're building a lot of good karma with your contributions to the artists' community and society.Thomas Robert Frederick, Fort Collins, CO

Truly, I don't know how to thank you for your wealth of information. After the marketing plan and shameless self-promotion class, the wheels started turning. What could I do to get myself out there in the big pond? . . . Thank you again for the push and lighting the fire of confidence. Even though I have a very established career as a fiber artist, it was time to move forward into some experimental work and some shameless self-promotion.—Gabrielle Swain, Fort Worth, TX

Promote Your Art with Confidence

from Alyson B. Stanfield and ArtBizCoach.com . . .

Next start date: September 12, 2007 (through November 16)

Are you doing everything you can to promote your work?

If you know this stuff, why aren't you doing it? Every person in business for him- or herself has to do this. You do, too. Even if you seek help from a gallery dealer or art consultant, you still have to sell the "idea" of your work to those people.

This is my live workshop in a virtual world! But it's so much more because we have a whole month together.

This class is for you if you realize that no one can promote their work better than you can. It's all about taking control of your career. Read the FAQs to find out more about taking online classes.

blogThis class is now conducted entirely on a private blog!

If you've never used a blog, great. You'll learn a much-needed skill. If you use blogs, you'll really enjoy this format.

Here's what you get:

  • 18 major lessons + other smaller ones delivered in blog format. Each will be posted on the class blog. Students will need to check in with the blog in order to get their lessons and comment. Email reminders will not be delivered.
  • Participation in the class discussion. All dialogue occurs on the blog.
  • Me! I act as the instructor. I am an active participant and will be monitoring and leading the discussion on the blog. In other words, you have my attention for the full summer.
  • Two MP3 audio recordings, including "Networking" and "Talking to an Audience." Each is approximately one hour and was recorded from a previous teleclass.
  • Bonus recording! All participants will have access to the audio class on blogging.
  • Slideshow: How one artist did a great job of branding his promotional materials.
